Some of it would just be economically responsible. Examples: Energy independence on a personal level would free up money used on utility bills for spending in the economy. On a larger scale we’d pay less to foreign countries for our energy. Renewable resources, or reused resources can be profitable for our economy, as well as good for keeping trash that is harder to break down out of our landfills. Clean water is still an issue in many places, even in our country. So I agree with what this is saying.
