First post of the new year.
I just thought I’d share what I was doing. I’ve brewed a special blend of Earl Grey and Cannabutter tea with milk and raw sugar. I’m sitting to write in my diary, and to plot out my resolutions for the year. Typically, I would consider New Year’s resolutions to be a lame social pressure to improve one’s self rather than accepting one’s self. This year, however, I’ve accepted that I need to improve some things that I can no longer accept. The list goes as follows:
1. Do more creative things as often as possible.
2. Less soda, more tea
3. Eat healthier
4. Be more active
5. Spend more time with Atom (my Corgi)
6. Meditate at least once a week
7. Clean house more often
8. Procrastinate less
9. Keep a diary
10. Write more letters
11. Learn a new skill
12. Be more organized
13. Use social networking
14. Don’t pick up cigarette smoking again
15. Spend some time with friends
So, this seems like a lot I’m sure… but I’m trying not to be too specific, and putting some things in that can be done at the same time (i.e. being more active and spending time with Atom).
Finger crossed, this year I can actually achieve some forward momentum on my own evolution.
