Beauty, Love, Fear, and Truth
- Chris: speaking of photography, you ever hear back from Helen of Troy?
- Me: Never made a call
- Chris: wasn't she supposed to call you?
- Me: either or, I'm sure she was waiting for mine.
- Chris: meh, that much beauty is intimidating anyway
- Me: Not... really.
- Chris: maybe not for you
- Me: The problem isn't really her beauty. The intimidation comes from thinking that you want to be with her and knowing she could have anyone she wanted and that someone may come along to steal her away because you can't match that level of beauty.
- Me: If she were a good woman, a non-shallow being with more focus on things other than looks and possessions she wouldn't leave you unless you forced her out.
- Me: If she were that type of woman, looks also wouldn't completely decide whether or not she is with you.
- Me: They certainly wouldn't be top priority.
- Me: It's not intimidation... it's the fact that you know she's simply a cheap whore who only cares for money, power, and looks and since you don't want to ruin the fantasy of someone so beautiful physically being so ugly internally you blame it on your own insecurities.
- Chris: I don't know, she may be really nice
- Me: She may be, I'm just explaining what seems to be logical reason most men fear that... and why I don't... it's also the reason I don't go for stuff like that. If it wants me it will come to me.
- Chris: true enough
- Me: Of course if it wants me it's really too bad. I'm pretty loyal to the women I love.
- Chris: true enough
