Spooky Gloom

You may or may not have heard of Wizard’s Staff. This is a drinking game in which as you drink canned beer you begin taping together your empty can to your next can. As you go on you can begin to order those with a smaller staff around (fantastically phallic I know). Now, in the mundane version you must “battle the boss” which means at certain levels of your staff you must take a shot of liquor. Big… whoop.

However… a friend of mine introduced me to a new way to play this game. If at any point you tie with the leader you must have a wizards duel. This means literally fighting staff to staff. If your staff breaks, you lose, and are only allowed to keep the cans that stay attached to your first can… meaning you must start over. I like this version better.

Beer Soap

Ever wish you could just bathe yourself in your favorite lager? Well, this is sorta like that. Beer Soap ($5; $20/5-pack) is fine soap made using 100% beer as the liquid portion, with the rest made with a special recipe of olive oil, sunflower oil, unrefined shea and cocoa butters, and more. Available in many types of beer-specific varieties, these bars don’t smell like beer, but instead offer just a hint of hoppy aroma as an additive to more complex aromas.

This is going back to that whole man smell thing. I think it’s bloody brilliant I do. I mean they have a beer soap for almost every genre of beer. I can’t wait for these people to come back from vacation. As much as I love my Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap I’m willing to give this a try.
